Loic Remy: Marseille striker was wanted by the north London club
Marseille chairman Vincent Labrune has revealed he turned down an "enormous" bid from Tottenham for striker Loic Remy.
The 25-year-old is very highly rated by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and has been tracked by the north London club for some time.
Redknapp was present to see the France striker bag a brace in Marseille's 2-0 win over Lille earlier this month which prompted Spurs to offer a reported £18million for his services.
