MIRANDA DE EBRO, Spain (AP)—Athletic Bilbao conceded a stoppage-time goal to Mirandes in a 2-1 win in the Copa del Rey semifinals on Tuesday, giving the third-tier club hope ahead of second leg next week.

Mirandes’ partisan crowd of 8,000 people at Anduva stadium were silenced after 18 minutes when Fernando Llorente headed Oscar de Marcos’ short cross into the net for the opener.

The Spain striker scored his second through an individual effort in the 27th. But the hosts cut the deficit in the first minute of injury time when Ander Lambarri gathered a long ball inside the area and beat goalkeeper Gorka Iraizoz.

Mirandes is only the third team from below the second division to progress this far.
