Allegri happy with Lopez loan
Maxi Lopez: Has joined AC Milan on six-month loan deal

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri was delighted after the club completed the signing of Maxi Lopez.

The Catania striker has joined the Rossoneri on a six-month loan deal after they failed to persuade Carlos Tevez to join the club.

And Allegri was delighted to have the 27-year-old Argentine to bolster his attacking options.

He told Milan TV: "Until yesterday I wasn't sure which striker would arrive at the club. Maxi Lopez has arrived and I am really happy.

"The club worked really hard to sign an important player and I am happy with the signing.

"At Catania he has played really well in the last six months. He is good technically and he us added strength in attack."
