Dalglish and Fergie: Our players and fans must behave
CONTROL YOURSELF ... Fergie's plea

"Both sets of fans have to make sure we are talking about the game and nothing else."

France international Evra is expected to start the fourth-round tie.

Dalglish has no worries about this afternoon's showdown turning into a war — between the players or the fans.

He said: "We have our house in order and I'm sure along the East Lancs Road they will be saying exactly the same thing.

"The best thing for everybody to be focused on is the football pitch. That's where we want people's attention to be.

"People will have their own opinions on what has happened. But it should not be used as an occasion to do anything other than enjoy the match and support the team.

"That's what the players are going out to do. To enjoy the match and try to earn the right to get through to the next round of the FA Cup.

"For us, the most important thing is the game and we have to play it as best we can."

Kop striker Suarez was found guilty of racially abusing Evra during the league match between the two clubs at Anfield.

He got an eight-match ban and a £40,000 fine.
