Hamilton welcome back central defender Mark McLaughlin from suspension as they look to keep their recent good form going with a first win of the season over Raith.

Skipper Alex Neil will receive a late check but everyone else at New Douglas Park is available to manager Billy Reid, who hopes to add a striker before the end of the transfer window.

Reid said: "We are starting to show a more robust side to our game and I am looking forward to that continuing against Raith. We showed by coming back from two goals down at Ayr last week to draw that we have resilience.

"When you add that to good play you get good results and hopefully we can get the three points from this one."

Raith will again be without defender Dougie Hill through injury when they face Hamilton at New Douglas Park.

Rovers are also missing the attacking threat of Scott McBride, who has a knee problem, and Brian Graham following a hernia operation.

The Kirkcaldy side are looking to build on two good performances against the Accies already this season.

Manager John McGlynn said: "The first game at their place was played on a good day on a good surface and both sides passed the ball really well in a 2-2 draw.

"The game at Stark's Park was a much more sleeves rolled up affair on a wet and windy day and we came out on top 3-2.

"We have shown signs of improvement recently and hopefully that leads to a win."
