Maradona: Pep could take over Inter

Diego Maradona feels that Barcelona chief Pep Guardiola would take over the managerial post at Inter Milan should he decide to call time on his Nou Camp stint.
Guardiola is renowned albeit rather strangely in the managerial fraternity for only accepting one year rolling contracts as compared to his counterparts.
The former Spanish international has yet to commit himself to a new deal with Barcelona ahead of next season.
In fact, Guardiola has been mooted for the Inter hot seat in recent seasons, and according to World Cup winning legend Maradona, the former could well be managing from the San Siro dugout in the future.
"I think that if he [Guardiola] ever leaves Barcelona, he wants to take over at Inter," Maradona said in an interview with El Economista.
"He will probably receive offers from all over the world. He is an excellent coach and is fortunate to work with the best players in the world at Barca."
Guardiola has already amassed a stunning 13 trophies with the Catalan giants ever since he took over the coaching post in the 2008/2009 season, having claimed three La Liga crowns and two UEFA Champions League titles among others.
