I have a say

Roma coach Luis Enrique has described his side's performance as "almost perfect", following a 5-1 mauling of Serie A rival Cesena on Saturday.

Despite the demolition of Daniele Arrigoni's men being overshadowed by Francesco Totti breaking Gunnar Nordahl's record for goals scored for an individual Serie A club, the 41-year-old opined that his team is finally showing the type of football he has been attempting to implement at the Stadio Olimpico.

"Today's match seems to have been easy because we were almost perfect," said the coach. "For me, Cesena are a team that have some good qualities. We played a very high level. That's the football I think any coach would like. Seeing the players having fun gives you more opportunities to win games."

However, Enrique added that Roma will not be celebrating its talisman's achievement as he now wants the Giallorossi to concentrate on their forthcoming Coppa Italia quarterfinal clash with Juventus on Tuesday.

"The numbers speak for themselves," he continued. "He still wants to become a reference point for this team, but we have not celebrated because we play again on Tuesday."
