Barca B-team star Soriano to join Salzburg

Barcelona says it has reached a tentative deal with Red Bull Salzburg for the transfer of B-team striker Jonathan Soriano.

The Spanish champions said on Thursday that Soriano was traveling to Austria where the deal will be completed after he passes a medical exam.

The 26-year-old Catalan player led Spain’s second division with 32 goals last season. After recovering from a knee injury at the start of this season, he scored five goals in 10 games.
