Evra: We’re red certs for the title

PATRICE EVRA has told Manchester City to forget about the title — because it is staying at Old Trafford.
The Manchester United caretaker captain believes the champions are back on form and — with injured stars Phil Jones, Ashley Young and Tom Cleverley to return — can only get better.
The Red Devils followed up their FA Cup win over City the previous weekend by beating Bolton 3-0 on Saturday to go joint top on points with their neighbours. And Evra said: "It was an important game, after the win against City, to show we are really confident and we are back. Everyone's coming back and in great form.
"We still have some injuries but when everyone is fit, it will give us the strength to win the title. We need to rest and focus on the next game. We're going to win the league."
Saturday's victory saw Paul Scholes grab the first goal right on half-time. It was his first league goal at Old Trafford since February 2009 — and came a week after he returned from retirement.
Michael Carrick, who got United's third against Bolton, revealed how much he had learned down the years from Scholes.
Carrick said: "I've watched him a lot and I've tried to add his attributes to my game.
"It was great to see him score and it's great to have him back for the quality that he brings.
"The younger players who have come in can train with him and learn a lot — just as we have in the past."
Danny Welbeck limped off after scoring United's second on Saturday but will be ready for their game at Arsenal on Sunday.
