Cesena vs Novara Calcio preview - Novara challenge excites Mascara

New Novara striker Giuseppe Mascara believes he can help pull the club clear from relegation danger, starting with Sunday's match at Cesena.
Mascara joined Novara from Napoli this week and is determined to help the team retain its Serie A status this season.
Novara have won just two league games so far and last weekend's 3-0 defeat against Fiorentina left them in 18th place, level on 12 points with Sunday's rivals, who are one spot behind them.
Mascara said: "This new challenge in my career gives me enthusiasm.
"I finally will be able to play regularly, something which I was missing at Napoli.
"I believe we can avoid the drop otherwise I wouldn't be here."
Novara coach Attilio Tesser is expected to hand Mascara a start this weekend.
The former Catania frontman will play alongside Andrea Caracciolo in attack.
"I feel ready to play straight away and try to express my best with Novara," Mascara said.
Cesena also made a move in the transfer window this week by acquiring Greek defender Vangelis Moras from Swansea.
"It didn't go as planned at Swansea and I wanted to return to Italy," Moras said.
"I want to thank Cesena for giving me this opportunity and I will try to repay the club with good performances."
Moras could start on Sunday at the Dino Manuzzi stadium and replace defender Maurizio Lauro, who serves a one-match ban.
Daniele Arrigoni's side are still looking to reinforce their attacking line this month having found the back of the net just nine times in 17 games.
The hosts lost for the third time in a row in last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Udinese.
