POINTING THE WAY ... James Milner has faith in City's title bid
JAMES MILNER insists Manchester City have what it takes to win the title.
City's rampant march to Premier League glory was dealt a blow over the festive period with a goalless draw at West Brom followed by a 1-0 reverse against Sunderland.
But Roberto Mancini's men bounced back with a 3-0 win over Liverpool last night — despite being reduced to 10 men.
And Milner believes the gritty display went some way to silencing the critics questioning their championship credentials.
The midfielder, who scored the third goal against the Reds, said: "It was an important game for us.
"We had a couple of disappointing results over the Christmas period.
"We know it is a critical time over any season and we needed to get the momentum back.
"We need to make sure we learn from those sort of experiences.
"I think it shows how much character and ability there is in the dressing room that we can come back."
