I have a say

Brechin manager Jim Weir has ruled out injured pair Gerry McLachlan and Charlie King as he looks to secure his first ever Angus derby success over Forfar.

City welcome back Gary Fusco after work commitments however they have seen on-loan Scott Smith return to Hibs, although Easter Road team-mate David Crawford could return to Glebe Park on another temporary deal if a new agreement can be arranged in time for kick-off.

Weir said: "I have yet to win a derby as manager of Brechin and it would be great to put that right against Forfar and keep our recent run of good results going but I know how tough it will be.

"Forfar will be desperate to start climbing the table."

Forfar are hopeful of securing goalkeeper Marc McCallum and midfielder Dale Hilson on loan from Dundee United ahead of the short trip to Glebe Park as they look for their first win in 10 games.

On-loan Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has returned to Pittodrie and midfielder Chris Hegarty misses out due to suspension to reduce manager Dick Campbell's options

Campbell said: "We really need to stop losing bad goals as we cannot fall much further in the table. I do however remain confident that we have the potential here to turn things around by going on a run of wins.

"We won at Brechin earlier in the season and a repeat of that success would be an excellent start to 2012."
