Greg Stewart netted his seventh goal of the season as Cowdenbeath won 2-0 at Stenhousemuir to stay top of Division Two.
Stewart almost put the Blue Brazil ahead after 10 minutes, but his exquisite lob was tipped to safety by Alistair Brown.
Cowdenbeath took the lead after 37 minutes when Stewart swept home Mark Ramsay's cross, before the provider almost grabbed a goal of his own when heading wide.
Stenhousemuir's best chance fell to Ross McMillan 20 minutes from the end, but he fired over the bar from close range.
Lewis Coult made the points safe in the 88th minute, drilling home a Marc McKenzie centre, and Cowdenbeath could have added a third a minute later, but Brown parried away McKenzie's powerful drive.
