FC Dallas midfielder Brek Shea has revealed that he could be interested in a move to the Premier League with Arsenal.
As the MLS season has now finished, the 21-year-old has spent the last month training with the Gunners in London.
“I enjoyed my stay and can see myself living there in the future," he told The Sun. “Watching Robin van Persie practice was unbelievable and hopefully I can learn from that.”
The USA international is being watched by a host of European clubs and has made nine appearances for the senior national team.
Speaking to Goal.com last week, Shea's representative Patrick McCabe said that a move to Europe would be unlikely for his client in the January transfer window.
"Brek is expected back in Dallas," McCabe told Goal.com. "He had a great training experience with Arsenal and is looking to build on that in the [U.S. national team] January camp."
It is expected that any interested club will have to pay at least $8 million to acquire the left winger as a result of his contract extension signed earlier this year.
