Panathinaikos beats Asteras 3-1, moves to second

ATHENS, Greece (AP)—Sebastian Leto scored once in each half and set up another goal to lead Panathinaikos to a 3-1 victory over visiting Asteras in the Greek league Saturday.
Jean-Alain Boumsong also scored for Panathinaikos, while Fernando Usero scored a late consolation goal for Asteras.
The victory means Panathinaikos leapfrogged AEK into second place, a point behind defending champion Olympiakos, which has also played one more game. Olympiakos hosts Giannena and AEK travels to Atromitos on Sunday.
Also Saturday, Ergotelis won 1-0 at newcomer Levadiakos and Xanthi beat visiting Panionios by the same score.
