Redknapp: City can make big noises

HARRY REDKNAPP took a swipe at Manchester United yesterday — by tipping 'noisy neighbours' City to win the Europa League.
And Tottenham's boss, whose side are on the brink of being dumped out of UEFA's second-rate competition, told the pair: You are welcome to it!
Redknapp's men must beat minnows Shamrock here tonight and hope PAOK Salonika thrash Rubin Kazan with a six-goal swing to progress to the last 32.
Alex Ferguson's United and big-spending City must suffer playing with Europe's B-listers after crashing out of the Champions League.
Arry, who will again field a weakened team, crowed: "Let them have it. Good luck to them! It will be interesting, won't it? I was at Old Trafford last Saturday and it was great hearing the Wolves fans chanting to the United supporters 'Thursday night, Channel Five'.
"I think City will win it if they want to. Alex won't go with the first team on a Thursday night, will he? But City can change their team.
"Just look at them at Chelsea the other night.
"You've Nasri on the bench, Dzeko, it's unreal."
Despite his team selections, Redknapp insists he will be sorry if Spurs do go out of the Europa League.
He added: "You've lads there like Andros Townsend, Jake Livermore and Tom Carroll who have done well. It has been good for them."
