Raith Rovers vs Livingston preview - Duo missing for Rovers

I have a say

Raith Rovers have the chance to climb off the bottom of the table by grabbing at least a point in their home contest with Livingston.

However, they will have to do so without the injured pair of goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw and winger Scott McBride.

The Kirkcaldy side went down 4-2 to Ross County last weekend, but manager John McGlynn was not too downbeat.

He said: "County put on the best display I have seen from an opposing team this season but there were plenty of positives for us to take from the match as well.

"We took the game to them and scored twice and if we play that way against Livingston we will get something in terms of points."

Livingston manager Gary Bollan is hoping full-backs Jonathan Brown and Jason Talbot will be available after injury.

Striker Rory Boulding remains out due to suspension.

Livi are out to avoid a hat-trick of defeats and Bollan said: "The boys are very much up for the game which is good to see as we have not been used to losing two games in a row in recent seasons.

"We want a win to arrest a slide and Raith want the win to get off the bottom so it is a really big game, and I have confidence in the players here to show how good they can be."
