Falkirk defender Kieran Duffie is set to wear a face mask to protect the broken nose he picked up at Dundee last week when Morton arrive at the Falkirk Stadium.

The Bairns are in their best shape injury-wise for a number of weeks with Thomas Scobbie ready to return to their defence and David Weatherston available again in attack.

Teenager Craig Sibbald has an outside chance of being involved as well.

Technical director Alex Smith said: "After losing our last two games we are keen to get back on track as soon as possible with a win over Morton.

"We have players coming back from injury which is good news and we want to make up for our defeat down at Cappielow earlier in the season."

Morton continue to be dogged by injury problems.

Goalkeepers Colin Stewart and Matt McGinley are missing along with defenders Stuart McCaffrey and Ross Forsyth and midfielder Michael Tidser.

Fouad Bachirou may play despite a broken toe with manager Allan Moore looking for his men to return to the form that saw them defeat the Bairns 3-2 earlier in the season.

Moore said: "That was a great game and another performance like that would be very welcome. Games between Falkirk and ourselves have always been good in the past couple of seasons.

"If we can defend our penalty box better and deliver a more accurate final ball than we have been doing recently then we will do okay."
