Cagliari 1 : 1 Bologna - Sardinians kept waiting

Cagliari's run without a Serie A win continued as they were held to a 1-1 draw by fellow strugglers Bologna at the Sant' Elia stadium.
The Sardinian outfit, without a league victory since October 2, dominated the encounter but went behind in the 75th minute when Marco Di Vaio put the visitors in front.
Cagliari captain Daniele Conti equalised from the penalty spot six minutes later after he was held by Nicolo Cherubin in the area.
The draw meant Cagliari climb to 14th in the table while Bologna remain 17th, one point clear of the drop zone.
The hosts started strongly and had the first chance of the match in the eighth minute. Lorenzo Ariaudo got his head behind Alessandro Agostini's cross but his effort went wide.
Midway through the first half, Bologna goalkeeper Jean Francois Gillet had to fully stretch to clear Conti's drive from 30 yards.
The home side were unlucky not to go in front on the stroke of half-time.
Conti fed Victor Ibarbo in the area and he struck the ball past Gillet only for his effort to be denied by the post.
Cagliari picked up where they left off after the restart and should have taken the lead after 49 minutes.
Albin Ekdal fed Michele Canini in the area but his six-yard attempt cleared the bar.
Cagliari continued to press forward but it was the visitors that took a surprise lead with 15 minutes remaining.
The hosts failed to clear a dangerous ball inside the area and substitute Di Vaio pounced to smash the ball into the back of the net and end his eight-month goal drought.
Cagliari's efforts were finally rewarded when the referee pointed to the spot after substitute Cherubin fouled Conti in the area.
Conti kept his nerve to slot home from 12 yards and earn his side a share of the spoils.
