Barcelona captain Carles Puyol expects former team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic to be "highly motivated" when he comes up against his old side on Wednesday.
The Sweden striker spent one bittersweet season at the Nou Camp after an expensive and high-profile transfer from Inter Milan in 2009 before heading back to Italy to join AC Milan after just a year.
Milan host Barca in Champions League action this week with Ibrahimovic set to come face to face with his old side and Puyol told Barca TV: "He will be highly motivated.
"But then again, who isn't against Barca? There's a lot to play for, and he'll give everything, but in any case, I don't think he can be any more motivated than we are."
Andres Iniesta will miss Wednesday's match with a minor knock.
