WAYNE ROONEY is suspended for the group stage of Euro 2012 – leaving a spot open for someone else to take his place.
England take on Spain tomorrow and Sweden on Tuesday, giving Three Lions boss Fabio Capello the perfect opportunity to run the rule over a potential replacement for his star man.
Darren Bent, Danny Welbeck, Daniel Sturridge and Bobby Zamora – who have just 14 caps between them – are in the squad for the two games, but there are others hoping for a shot in the future.
