Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is prepared to let Sebastien Squillaci and Marouane Chamakh leave the club in in the next transfer window.
According to reports in the Sun, the summer arrival of Per Mertesacker has seen the Frenchman drop to Arsenal's fifth choice centre half, and Wenger will let the 31-year-old leave either on a loan deal, or for £2million.
In addition, Marouane Chamakh has also been deemed surplus to requirements after failing to sparkle since his move from Bordeaux in 2010.
The duo are not the only two players expected to be on their way out from the Emirates, with Manuel Almunia, who was on a loan spell with West Ham, available for a paltry £300,000, for whichever club is willing fork out the sum for the error-prone 34-year-old.
There are also further reports that after his outburst at Wenger, Andrey Arshavin could also be on Wenger's sales list, with Schalke keen on the 30-year-old winger.
