Messi: I don't care about records

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi insists he wants to break the club's all-time goalscoring record for the team and not for personal glory.
The Argentina ace leapfrogged Ladislao Kubala earlier this season to become the Catalan giants' second highest goalscorer behind Cesar Rodriguez with 235 goals.
With 203 goals to his name, Messi is tipped to be top of the list at the end of this season.
And that's the 24-year-old's hopes, although he insists he is not after personal glory.
"I want to break Rodriguez's record, but only because I want to score as many goals as possible for Barcelona. It's good for the team when I score and I want to win trophies. I don't care about entering the record books," Messi told Het Nieuwsblad.
"I don't necessarily want to break the record this season. If it happens, I'm fine with it, but I won't lose any sleep over it if I don't break the record."
