Alex Ferguson revels at gala dinner

ALEX FERGUSON showed he can still be a trendsetter by partying to The Script and Mumford & Sons at a gala dinner in his honour.
One of The Script's most famous songs is The Man Who Can't Be Moved — perfect for a man celebrating 25 years in charge of Manchester United.
The swanky do at Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Thursday was attended by 600 guests.
All United's first-team squad were there along with Steve Bruce and Bryan Robson, the captains when Fergie won his first Premier League title in 1993.
A charity auction raised £220,000 for the Elizabeth Hardie Ferguson Charitable Trust Fund, set up in memory of Fergie's mum.
Fergie wore his best kilt but Rio Ferdinand tweeted: "I think I looked best dressed tonight... love a sharp black suit... felt like the new age Bond."
