Reports say Naples prosecutors investigating the latest Italian match-fixing scandal want to question former Inter Milan coach Hector Cuper, currently in charge of Spanish club Racing Santander.
The prosecutors have sent a letter of request to Spanish authorities seeking permission to question Cuper.
Cuper, who was in charge of Inter in 2001-03, is alleged to have given information to a group of bettors about two Spanish league games and two Argentinian league matches.
Sixteen people were arrested on June 1 for alleged involvement in a match-fixing and betting ring. Among the subsequent punishments were a six-point penalty for Serie A club Atalanta and a three-and-a-half-year ban for club captain Cristiano Doni.
