Jim Lister comes back into the reckoning for Brechin ahead of the visit of league leaders Cowdenbeath.

The striker is available again after suspension but recent signing Bryan Hodge begins a ban.

Gerry McLachlan and Derek Carcary look set to miss out due to knee injuries and Gary Fusco a doubt because of a knock.

City are looking for a first victory in seven matches and Glebe Park boss Jim Weir said: "I am not sure what line up to go for as yet as all the players are working really hard and do not deserve to miss out.

"However, Jim Lister can be a real threat and is definitely in my thoughts for starting. We need to find a goal or two to get us winning again and increase the confidence around the team."

Cowdenbeath welcome back defender Dean Brett and midfielder Mark Ramsay.

Player-manager Colin Cameron looks set to include himself after a hamstring injury but Kenny Adamson is a doubt with a foot problem.

Cameron faces a dilemma about who to open up with in attack.

He said: "Lewis Coult came on as a substitute last weekend against Forfar and changed the game. He scored instantly and he could not have done any more for me to seriously consider starting with him in this one.

"Brechin have good players and are in a bit of a false position so we have to ensure it does not all click together for them against us."
