Airdrie have been hit by injury and suspension ahead of the visit of East Fife.
Kieron Stallard and Kevin Green are banned while Graeme Goodall, Alastair Woodburn and John Boyle will be missing due to knocks.
Diamonds manager Jimmy Boyle said: "This was always going to be a tough game for us and it is a shade more difficult with a few players not being available.
"I watched East Fife in midweek against Kilmarnock and I thought they did very well, even when they went down to 10 men before half time.
"Draws have been hurting our chances of moving up the table so it would be great to get a win in this one and get a full three points on board."
Robert Ogleby will be available for the visitors. Ogleby`s suspension for his dismissal against Kilmarnock in midweek is restricted to Scottish Communities League Cup games.
However, fellow forward Scott Dalziel remains out with a pelvic problem.
Manager John Robertson has told his players to ensure there is no cup hangover this time round.
"After beating Dunfermline and then Aberdeen we lost the subsequent league game and we do not want that to happen again, especially as we have generated a bit of momentum with three wins in a row," Robertson explained.
"There are a few tired legs after the Kilmarnock game so I may freshen things up a bit to give us the best chance of making it four wins out of four."
