PEP GUARDIOLA insists Manchester United are still one of the best teams in the world.
The Barcelona coach backed United after their 6-1 defeat against rivals Manchester City.
He said: "For me United remain one of the best teams in the world.
"Nothing changes that — even losing 6-1 at home to City."
United skipper Nemanja Vidic has quit international football.
The Serbian star, 30, is unhappy about criticism from media and fans over his commitment.
