Valencia midfielder Sergio Canales out 3-6 months

Valencia says midfielder Sergio Canales will be out for three to six months after partially tearing a ligament in his right leg during his team’s 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
Club doctors said on Monday that they have yet to determine if the 20-year-old Canales needs surgery.
If so, they said he will be sidelined for six months.
Canales has scored one goal since joining Valencia on loan from Real Madrid this summer with a buy-out option.
Valencia is currently in fifth place in the Spanish league after drawing its last two matches.
