Two goals from striker Greg Stewart helped Cowdenbeath to a 3-1 victory over Forfar.
Cowdenbeath took the lead on the hour mark when substitute Lewis Coult hit a well-placed shot into the bottom-left corner from the edge of the area after being set up by Scott Linton's cross.
Eight minutes later Stewart doubled the home side's lead when he latched onto Mark McKenzie's pass before driving a left-footed effort past Forfar goalkeeper Greg Paterson from 18 yards out.
Stewart got his second in the 72nd minute with a carbon-copy finish to make the game safe for Colin Cameron's men.
Nicky Low scored a consolation goal for the away side 15 minutes from time with a right-footed volley from the edge of the area.
