Ross County 1 : 0 Hamilton FC - Munro keeps County top

Ross County remain top of the Irn-Bru Scottish First Division after Grant Munro's first goal of the season helped Derek Adams' men to a 1-0 win over Hamilton.

Hamilton goalkeeper David Hutton prevented his side from going a goal down in the 25th minute when he got across his goal superbly to tip Iain Vigurs' 35-yard free-kick around the post.

However the home side did take the lead six minutes later when Munro fired in a low left-footed effort from 12 yards.

Hamilton pushed for an equaliser in the second half and their last chance fell to Greig Spence in the dying moments, but his left-footed strike was well saved by Ross County goalkeeper Michael Fraser.
