AC Milan's Massimiliano Allegri: I will sign a new contract soon

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed he will soon put pen-to-paper on a new contract with the Serie A giants.
"I will renew when the club call me," Allegri told GQ. "We have already spoken and the meeting ended with a handshake. The signature is the only thing missing, that will be taken care of later."
The 44-year-old joined the club in the summer of 2010, after leaving Cagliari, and guided them to their first Serie A title since 2004 in his initial year in charge.
He was immediately linked with signing an extension as his current deal runs until the end of the season, but those stories cooled after the club's disappointing start to life in the league.
