Higuain feels “Honured” playing Alongside Cristiano Ronaldo

The Argentinean striker, Gonzalo Higuain, has recently claimed that he feels honoured while playing alongside the Portuguese captain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Gonzalo Higuain has recently been in an outstanding goal scoring form. The Argentinean striker scored a hat trick in his last La Liga fixture and the first goal scored by him was set up by Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is often considered as one of the best strikers in the world and Gonzalo Higuain took out his time to praise the Portuguese captain. Ronaldo has been crucial for Real Madrid in the past seasons he has spent with the Spanish club.

While sending out his praise to Ronaldo, Higuain admired his whole team and said that he is privileged that he plays with such an outstanding squad. The Argentinean said:

"It's a great honour to play in a team with Cristiano and other top players in professional football.”

While giving out his comments about Cristiano Ronaldo, he further added:

"Every time you stand on the pitch with these talented footballers, you thank God and remember what a privilege it is. If you play with the big time players, you will also improve."

Even though Gonzalo Higuain singled out Cristiano Ronaldo as his favourite player in the Real Madrid starting line-up, he was later questioned about his favourite striker of all time. The Argentinean striker was able to single out the former Brazilian striker, Ronaldo as his favourite striker of all time.

Gonzalo Higuain was quoted saying:

There are many very good strikers, but I especially admire Ronaldo."

The Brazilian striker was once a part of the Real Madrid line-up. Ronaldo was one of those players who left Barcelona and joined Real Madrid. However, he never received the form of criticism like Figo did when he left the Catalan club.

Ronaldo was an important player for Los Blancos. The Brazilian man became a part of Los Blancos and he often proved that he was one of the best goal scorers in the history of the game.

While playing alongside players like Zinedine Zidane, Roberto Carlos and David Beckham, Ronaldo was able to help his side towards La Liga glory.

Currently, Higuain himself is on an amazing goal scoring spree. The Argentinean star is going to try and maintain his outstanding goal scoring form as the competition in the Real Madrid striking position is very high. The Frenchman Karim Benzema is looking deadly in front of goal as well.

Higuain is now going to try and take his first team position at Santiago Bernabeu.
