Two Bayern Munich fans were stabbed on Monday night in the streets of Naples ahead of the Champions League match between Napoli and the German side, Ansa reports.
The two men, aged 42 and 47, were walking towards Piazza Garibaldi when they were stabbed from behind by some men on a pair of motorbikes. They received medical care for the stab wounds at the Loreto Mare hospital and have now been discharged.
Last year, three Liverpool fans were stabbed and four others were also injured ahead of the Europa League match between the Premier League side and Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo.
Bayern Munich is leading Group A, with a perfect record from two games, while Napoli is second, two points back.
