Carlos Tevez’s showdown at Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini’s house

CARLOS TEVEZ was summoned to an extraordinary face-to-face meeting with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini late on Wednesday night.
SunSport can reveal that Mancini rang Tevez as the Argy boarded a 9pm train from Euston and told the hitman to come to his house as soon as he got back to Manchester.
Tevez arrived just after midnight anticipating a meeting to thrash out their differences over the incident in Germany when City allege their former captain refused to come on as a sub in the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
But Mancini demanded that Tevez apologise to him both publicly and privately and that he did the same to chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak.
He also told Tevez that even if he said sorry disciplinary procedures would continue.
Tevez then asked Mancini to apologise to him for saying that he refused to play but the Italian said 'no'. Tevez, who had been suspended for a fortnight, returned to training yesterday.
City have ruled he has a case to answer for a breach of club discipline but the striker has vowed to fight it.
A source close to Tevez said: "Carlos went to Mancini's house as he was asked but to be told to apologise was not acceptable."
