Alexis Sanchez: Other players will not be following Chile star out of Udinese door
Udinese supremo Gianpaolo Pozzo has rubbished rumours the club could be selling more players in the January transfer window.
Star forward Alexis Sanchez left for Barcelona in the summer transfer window after the Chile international helped the club qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
There has since been speculation that others could be following Sanchez out of the door in January, but Pozzo has moved to scotch these rumours.
He told the club's official website: "I'm sincerely tired of these rumours, which are out of control.
"They are groundless and they only create trouble to the team and to the whole environment.
"I have already said it and I repeat - in January, as tradition, not only won't we do important movements away from the club, but there won't be the possibility also to start possible negotiations in view of the summer market.
"The only operation will be maybe in considering we will have a few players engaged with the African Cup of Nations for more than a month."
