Juventus want to take Manchester City outcast Carlos Tevez on loan in January.
The Argentine striker hit the headlines after allegedly refusing to play for Manchester City during their 2-0 Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich last month.
And there are suggestions that Tevez, who said he wanted to leave the club in the summer, will never play for City again.
Inter Milan and Brazilian side Corinthians seemed his most likely destinations following a closed-season of intense speculation regarding his future but he eventually stayed put at Eastlands.
But now Serie A side Juventus want to take advantage of the current situation and have reportedly sounded out City about a potential loan move.
According to reports in Italy, Juve sporting director Beppe Marotta has already held meetings with City and Tevez's agent Kia
Joorabchian about a deal which would see the Italian club pay all of his staggering wages - understood to be around £200,000 per week.
The deal would also include an option for Juventus to buy Tevez at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old former City captain is currently serving a two-week suspension pending an internal investigation regarding his actions in Munich but both the player and his agent have denied that he refused to play.
