I have a say

Parma are wary of the threat of Genoa's attacking force, particularly the in-form Rodrigo Palacio, ahead of Sunday`s game at the Stadio Enio Tardini.

Genoa have the best front line in the competition with eight goals in four games, five of which were scored by Palacio.

The Argentinian striker got on the scoresheet in Genoa's 2-1 loss at Chievo, his team's first defeat of the campaign.

"Palacio is in great form and we will have to keep a close eye on him," Parma full-back Francesco Modesto said.

"We await a Genoa side that is in great form despite last weekend's setback.

"Genoa are very organised and give away few spaces.

"We have to be prepared to suffer and give our all."

Parma have reason to be cautious as they have the leakiest defence with nine goals given away so far.

The Ducale club heads into the game on the back of a 1-0 loss to Roma, their third defeat of the campaign.

"We need to do better," Modesto said. "We are all aware that we are going through a delicate time.

"We are slightly bitter because defeats affect the morale of the team.

"We seem to have lost our self-confidence and we have to rediscover it in order to return to winning ways."

Parma have failed to score in their last two games and coach Franco Colomba will be hoping Sergio Floccari can open his goal account this weekend.

Floccari will partner the team's top scorer, Sebastian Giovinco, in Parma's attack.

Genoa will be without defender Dario Dainelli, who is suspended.
