Cesena coach Marco Giampaolo is refusing to panic even though his side go into the match against Chievo without a point to their name.

Last weekend's 1-0 defeat at AC Milan was Cesena's fourth straight loss and left them at the foot of the standings.

Giampaolo believes his players are not being rewarded for their efforts.

"We played well against Milan and my team didn't give up," Giampaolo said. "Our fans need to be patient because if we continue to play like we are doing, the results will soon come our way.

"I think my players are capable of getting a good run of results in the next few weeks to come out of this situation."

Chievo coach Domenico Di Carlo believes Cesena are playing better than their results suggest.

"They played well in their 2-1 defeat against Lazio and were solid last weekend against Milan," he said. "We cannot take them lightly as they will play at home and will be eager to win against us.

"Cesena, like us, will battle to avoid the drop this season."

Chievo, meanwhile, followed their 1

-0 triumph over Napoli with a 2-1 victory against Genoa in the last round.

"We deserved the win against Genoa," Di Carlo said. "We played intelligent football and we have to continue in this path.

"We have plenty of room for improvement but I'm happy with how my players are performing so far."

Di Carlo's men go into the game looking for their first win on their travels.
