Sandro's new haircut was a bolt from the blue

Penalty drama aside, the most eye catching sight at the Britannia Stadium last night was Spurs midfielder Sandro's woeful hairstyle.

The Brazilian's team-mates went home with the blues after the Potters dumped them out of the Carling Cup on penalties, but Sandro was clearly feeling blue before kick-off.

Could this be a desperate attempt to attract the attention of London rivals Chelsea, who looked destined to sign Luka Modric last month? Or was Sandro simply trying to add a bit of colour to a tepid 0-0 affair?
