David Beckham’s long johns range

DAVID Beckham is giving a leg up to the long johns industry — by launching his own designer range.

The soccer hunk, 36, revealed he loves to wear the grandad kecks when he cuddles up at night with wife Posh.

Becks said of his crusade to make the thermals sexy: "I sometimes wear them to go to sleep. They're very cool."

The garments will form part of an "exciting" line of undies he plans to launch next February in time for Valentine's Day.

He decided to design his own after boosting sales of Emporio Armani underwear by fronting an ad campaign with Victoria, 37.

The LA Galaxy superstar said in the US: "The underwear is totally my designs, things that I like to wear."

His revelation came as he also told how sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, and Cruz, six, dote on their "gorgeous" new sister Harper Seven — born in July.

Becks said: "They're constantly holding her and playing with her."

The boys also have another new playmate — singer Justin Bieber, 17.

Becks said: "He's sent them signed guitars."
