Roberto Mancini wants new signings at Manchester City
HAVE A WORD ... Roberto Mancini tries to get his message across yesterday

ROBERTO MANCINI claims Manchester City slipped up at Fulham because he does not have enough players.
The club's mega-rich Arab owners have spent more than £300million on talent in the past three years.

But boss Mancini moaned: "We're lacking players at this moment. I can only change the full-backs or the strikers.

"I have only two midfield players, as James Milner and Nigel de Jong are injured. I don't have players at this moment."

City, who stay second in the table, led 2-0 but crumbled as Fulham fought back with goals from Bobby Zamora and Danny Murphy.

Mancini added: "After 2-0, it feels like a defeat but it could be a lesson for us. When you dominate a game for 60 minutes and score only two goals, it's a problem.

"For 10 to 15 minutes, Fulham played very well but a top team like us needs to have more control of the game.

"I'm disappointed — we conceded stupid goals. Every game is like this in England. If a team is losing 2-0, they do not finish playing.

"All the players need to defend. For 10 minutes, we only defended with five or six players which is not good enough. My players probably thought they had done enough to win."

City's goals came from £35million Argentinian forward Sergio Aguero.

Mancini insisted: "I'm happy with Aguero but next time it's better that he scores once and we win."
