Wenger: 'Blackburn defeat is difficult to accept'

Arsene Wenger has revealed he found it very difficult to accept the ‘unbelievable’ 4-3 defeat against struggling Blackburn Rovers.
After leading 2-1 against Steve Kean’s side the Gunners collapsed to let Rovers run away as easy winners, inflicting a third defeat of the Premier League season on the Gunners.
And Wenger admitted he knows his defence were too weak, saying: “We make mistakes and at that level on set-pieces you cannot make the mistakes we made.
“It is very difficult to accept that you lose a game when you have so much domination and so many chances. It is basically unbelievable.”
But Wenger has insisted his side have the potential to recover from their dreadful start to the season, and to do it quickly.
“We have the potential to do well, you could see that today,” he added. “I believe it is important that we get our confidence back quickly.”
