Dumbarton 0 : 4 Cowdenbeath - Victory keeps Cowdenbeath in the hunt

Cowdenbeath kept pace with Arbroath at the top of the Irn-Bru Second Division with a commanding 4-0 win at Dumbarton.
The visitors declared their intentions early on and took the lead after just eight minutes when Marc McKenzie curled past Jamie Ewings having been put through by Scott Linton.
It was 2-0 before the halfway point of the first half as Linton set up Jon Robertson for a close-range left-footed finish.
They extended their lead further when McKenzie crossed from the right for Jordan Morton to fire home from six yards out.
And the demolition was complete five minutes from time when Linton got the goal he deserved, slotting Lewis Coult's pass past Ewings from just inside the box.
