East Fife vs Brechin City preview - McQuade out for East Fife

East Fife will be without recent signing Paul McQuade against Brechin as the striker has torn a muscle in his thigh.
The experienced Steven Hyslop should return for the Fifers but manager John Robertson has other challenges as flu victim Stevie Campbell and Lloyd Young (ankle) need late fitness checks.
"We are having a horrible run of luck at the moment and hopefully that will change against Brechin," Robertson said.
"We are playing well but suffered through a couple of bad decisions last Saturday.
"We know that if we play like we can we will start climbing the table and hopefully the breaks that have been against us recently will go for us in this one."
Brechin have striker Derek Carcary suspended for their trip.
He will be joined on the sidelines by defender David McClune and midfielder Craig Molloy, who are suffering from hamstring and groin problems respectively.
Brechin boss Jim Weir thinks it is a meeting between two sides that have underperformed so far this season.
He said: "We were both tipped to do a lot better but neither of us have done that well. It is early days in the season and there are a lot of games to go but we cannot afford to keep losing ground on the teams at the top.
"Hopefully we will show that we are gelling better than we have been in this game."
