Harry Redknapp urges David Beckham to join him at Tottenham

HARRY REDKNAPP wants to help David Beckham achieve his Olympic dream by taking him to Tottenham in January.
Becks, 36, is desperate to play football for Team GB at London 2012.
And the former England captain knows signing for Spurs during LA Galaxy's close-season would give him a great chance.
New QPR owner Tony Fernandes has already contacted the Beckham camp about a move.
But Spurs boss Redknapp said: "If David wants to come to Tottenham I'd welcome him with open arms.
"He's definitely still good enough to play in the Premier League.
"His game was never about pace so whether he's quick or not isn't an issue.
"David's unique quality is his use of the ball and his ability to pick out a player with a pinpoint pass.
"He is unbelievable and still an exceptional talent.
"I know first hand because we had him here last winter and he was terrific around the place.
"You couldn't find a nicer fella and a better professional.
"He's the best example there is for any young player, how he looks after himself, how he trains and how he's stayed an ordinary guy despite his extraordinary success.
"He is worth his weight in gold, he'd be an asset for any club. I'd have him here, that's for sure.
"He wouldn't be able to play until the January transfer window opens, though, because we've already lodged our 25 players with the Premier League.
"But he'd be a great one to have around the club again."
Beckham's Galaxy contract expires at the end of the current MLS season.
He has been offered the chance to stay in California but so far has not agreed any new deal.
That means he will become a free agent in November.
Becks has twice joined AC Milan on loan.
