Battle of Britain ... Gareth Bale
Gareth Bale insists Wales aim to give Fabio Capello's high-fliers the fright of their lives.
The wing wonder was outstanding in Friday's surprise 2-1 Euro 2012 qualifier win over Montenegro in Cardiff.
And now he reckons Wales are out to prove a Group G point at Wembley tomorrow, after their grim 2-0 defeat by England at the Millennium Stadium back in March.
Tottenham star Bale said: "We know it's going to be hard playing against England. But we are not in awe of them.
"The Montenegro game showed the potential in this squad. The team's looking strong, we've a better squad now and we're definitely looking to a brighter future.
"We're always going to be massive underdogs whoever we're playing at the moment.
"But it's something that we are relishing.
"There were things we worked on in training that we didn't quite do in the England game at home.
"Yet we're progressing well and we showed what we're made of against Montenegro. I think this is a turning-point for us and, hopefully, we can build on this for the future."
Bale, 22, missed the England defeat with a hamstring injury.
But he added: "Beating Montenegro has shown how much improvement we've made.
"We controlled the game against a very good side. They're not ranked in the top 20 in the world for nothing. The win was something we needed."
