LEON CLARKE was ordered to stay away from training yesterday by Swindon after his amazing bust-up with boss Paolo Di Canio.
Leon Clarke was due to report for a warm-down with the rest of Paolo Di Canio’s squad following Tuesday’s Carling Cup defeat by Southampton.
But chairman Jeremy Wray told the former QPR striker to keep a low profi le following his amazing tussle with Di Canio at the end of the game.
The pair had to be separated by stewards after an angry confrontation, sparked by a row between Clarke and Swindon fi tness coach Claudio Donatelli.
It started when Di Canio tried to put his arm round the player at the end of the game and continued down the tunnel.
Wray sided with manager Di Canio and club sources say Swindon tried to sell Clarke yesterday only 13 days after his move to the County Ground.
