Premier League club Fulham signed Czech defender Zdenek Grygera from Juventus on a free transfer on Wednesday.
Grygera agreed a one-year deal with the Cottagers, with an option for a further year, after his contract with Italian side Juventus was terminated by mutual consent on Tuesday.
"It has always been an ambition for me to play in the Premier League and I am looking forward to an exciting new chapter in my career with Fulham," he told the club's website.
Grygera, who has made 52 appearances for the Czech Republic and can play at right-back or centre-back, had a four-year spell with Dutch club Ajax in 2003 before moving to Juventus in 2007.
