Bob Bradley's Agent: Egypt will decide its coach this week

Egypt will make a decision on its next coach after Ramadan ends this week, Bob Bradley's agent Ron Waxman confirmed to Goal.com. It is likely that the former U.S. coach will be waiting to hear his name announced as the team's next manager.
“I have been told that the EFA will decide on a new manager sometime after the feast which marks the end of Ramadan,” Waxman told Goal.com via email.
The Egyptian FA has made no secret of its interest in hiring Bradley, who has been identified as the top choice to replace long-serving manager Hassan Shehata. It is believed that the announcement has been delayed due to the holiday, but, according to reports, that wasn’t the only reason why the move was stalled.
As Goal.com first reported, the two sides were apart in salary negotiations over the past month. Bradley was offered $683,000 while he was expecting something closer to a seven-figure salary. Waxman's previously indicated that Bradley remains Egypt’s top choice.
"Bob's meetings in Cairo with the EFA went very well and we are awaiting a formal offer," Waxman told Goal.com two weeks ago.
If Bradley is hired, his first game as manager could be hours after he is hired. Egypt faces Serra Leone on Sept. 2.
